Lizzie Hand Spun Yarn Lizzie

In 1996 I learned to spin and a whole new world opened up to me. Until that time I thought the only type of wool was merino. I had no idea that there were so many different breeds of sheep producing so many different types of wool. Among the different breeds I have learned to spin are Romney, Cotswold, and Churro. I use all the yarn I spin myself and my pieces are, more often than not, knit from all hand spun. Spinning is just one more element of human energy that goes into my work.
